For most people, Hayley and Konrad's wedding date is unforgettable. September 26, 2009 marked the day the couple tied the knot, but it was also on the same day that super typhoon Ondoy wreaked its havoc.
The heavy rains posed various challenges for the couple and their suppliers. Some of the flowers--including the bridal bouquet--didn't make it to the venue. Hayley and Konrad's hired suppliers had trouble reaching the Makati Shangri-La Hotel, as streets were hit by flood. The idea of traveling from the ceremony venue to the hotel was also overwhelming for guests.
Despite the odds, the wedding--and a beautiful one at that--pushed through. And if Hayley and Konrad can pull off a wedding in the most unfriendly conditions, then perhaps they can weather just about any storm.
